As a part of the Advanced Writing in the Technical Professionals class, we were to pick a topic of our interest related to our profession to complete a research project about. As a part of this project, we had to complete a research presentation that would be presented to the class, as well as a public discourse essay that would be published online for a broader community to read.

I decided to do my project on theme parks, specifically how the new technological innovations that are being added to attractions sometimes detract from the guest experience. I wrote a 2400+ word essay about the impact of these innovations, and researched over 15 different sources to provide evidence on guest feedback and breakdown times. I also presented my findings to the class in a 10-minute research presentation.
